How the League Tables Work
If a League Tables participant fails to respond to personal communications directed to them by a fellow player in their division, that player will be issued a Yellow Card.
The personal communication must be made at least 3 times on 3 different days, preferably using different communication methods. (For example: private message from WGTLS; private message from WGT; and Wall post on the player's WGT profile page.) If a player fails to respond to 3 attempts at communication from another player, the player who attempted to communicate should, on the 4th day or afterwards, report the communication failure in the Three Strikes and Down forum, opening a separate thread for each communication failure.
If, within 24 hours from such a forum post issuing a Yellow Card, there is still no reaction from the player who failed to respond to the 3 communication attempts, that match shall be declared a Technical Loss for the player who failed to communicate. (Anyone can even subscribe via email to the Three Strikes and Down forum, to ensure they won't miss any Yellow Card issued against them.)
It's OK to say Sorry, I'm too busy for the next 2 weeks; let's play our League Tables game in the second half of the month, please. It's not OK to fail to respond at all when fellow players from your division ask you whether you are available or not.
Any player who still has Yellow Cards for a No-Post or a Communication Failure by the end of the month, as evidenced by dialog in the Three Strikes and Down forum, will see these games posted as Technical Losses for him or her as the player who caused the non-completion of a match.
If, on day 29 of a month, a scheduled division game has not been played, and there has either been no communication about the game in the Three Strikes and Down forum, or it is impossible to determine which of the 2 players caused the non-completion of the game, such a match shall be evaluated as a Technical Tie, and each player will receive 1 point.
If any player by the end of the month has recorded more than 2 Technical Losses or Ties in total, that player will automatically be disqualified from the League Tables for the following month, and may only re-enter the competition the month after that, in the lowest division.
